Dear Parents,
Your child is learning Unit 4: People and
Possessions. The main topic of this
unit is people’s possessions. In this unit your child will learn how to ask
about and describe possessions and collections, say who different things belong
to, and learn the numbers up to one hundred.
In Unit 4 your child will identify the
parts of a computer and talk about where and why we use computers. Your child
will complete his/her own ‘My Little Fact File of Computers’ to reinforce this
learning. Your child will also learn about the possessions and collections of
children in Britain and play a game to practise specific English sounds.
In this unit your child will have the
opportunity to read and write questions about possessions. Your child will also
read short texts about computers and write a short text about his/her
possessions, following a model.
