Mrs. Eva.

EARTH THE WATER PLANET
Water is found in many places in and around the Earth.

It's found in three states.

Most of the water on the Earth is saltwater, and only a little is freshwater.

FRESHWATER                                                                   SALTWATER
Riverslakesicecaps and groundwater.                          Oceans and seas.
Reservoirs (man-made lakes)

AIR
Plants can't grow without air. People and animals can't breathe without air. Air is found mainly in the atmosphere, which is the layer of gases that surround the Earth.

WATER and AIR have the same characteristics: they have no smell, no taste and no colour.

Air takes up space.

You can see this video.

ENGLISH UNIT 7: YESTERDAY

Dear Parents,

Your child is about to finish Unit 7. The main topic of this unit is the activities people do in their free time. In this unit your child is learning how to ask and respond to questions about where he/she was yesterday. It's very important to understand the past tense of the verb to be.

In Unit 7 your child is finding out about castles and learning about what life in a castle was like. He/she is also is finding out about school trips in Britain.

In this unit your child is having the opportunity to read and write exchanges about where people were yesterday. Your child is also reading short texts about castles, writing his/her opinion about life in a castle and writing a short text about a school trip, following a model.

Here you have some links to reinforce the vocabulary and grammar of this unit. I hope you like it!

Mrs. Eva.
